This is our WHY!
Why do we dine in the dark? On March 21st, Prevent Blindness Texas hosted Dark Dining Houston to provide an experience to learn more about how vision loss can impact your life and raise funds to help individuals across the state connect to the care they need. Visual impairment knows no boundaries, and our honorees for the evening shed light on why preventing blindness and preserving sight is crucial to each of them.
“The women honored at PBT’s Dark Dining Houston embody what it means to be a change agent and live with purpose to make the lives better for the people they work with and serve. They are keen storytellers with the ability to weave passion, commitment, education, and advocacy into all that they do to engage people and move life-saving work forward. We are grateful to work with them and honor them.” Heather Patrick CEO of Prevent Blindness Texas
